Aerosmith have rescheduled their 50th Anniversary music concert to next year due to COVID-19.
In a statement Thursday, the American rock band revealed the new date as September 14, 2021.
The band said that the show, which was originally scheduled for September 14 at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, was postponed “Out of an abundance of love and caution.”
“It’s better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret, for the safety of our families, for our crews, for the fans and for the Blue Army,” according to Aerosmith.
The band promised to honor all tickets purchased for the 2020 gig for the new date.
Those who are unable to make it will be able to request a refund.
Ticket holders will be emailed with all details.
