Amy Poehler stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday (May 9) and talked about Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle naming their first baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The 47-year-old actress-director has a 10-year-old son named Archie and is cool with the royal baby sharing the name: “I have an Archie,” she said. “I have to say we’re just so hungry for good news, like just a baby being born and knowing its name, everybody’s huddled by the TV – ‘a baby was born and they named it!’”
“I mean I love William and Harry, our gen, we love William and Harry,” Amy continued. “I have two sons, you want them to be like William and Harry. You want them to be friends but also different and one of them is in some kind of royal airforce. I have a ginger… actually, now that you say it, I really feel like they’re copying me.”
Amy also talked about her film Wine Country and opened up about her frustration while watching the movie Free Solo: “It should be called white non-sense this movie,” Amy said.
