In celebration of “Break My Soul” going platinum, Beyoncé recently dropped an official “Hive Certified” music video.
Beyoncé dropped the new video on her official YouTube channel as an homage to her loyal fans and supporters who showed off their dance moves on social media when she released the song back in June.
“Break My Soul” went platinum on November 30. The video features a montage of Bey Hive members dancing, recording TikToks, and having fun with Beyoncé’s vocals.
The new video opens with a funny clip of one fan tricking his mom and sister by saying he doesn’t like “Beyonce’s new song.” “Get out of here before I break your soul,” the fan’s mom angrily replies, while his sister stares in disbelief.
“BREAK MY SOUL is Certified Platinum,” reads the video’s description. “Thank you so much for all the love and for releasing the wiggle.”
“Break My Soul” was first released back in June as a preview of Bey’s highly anticipated Renaissance album, which dropped the following month. The track peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100 and maintained its reign for two weeks.
