Bonnie Ryan is following in her late father Gerry and sister Lottie’s broadcasting footsteps with a new gig as guest reporter on Xpose.
Bonnie (25), who runs her make-up studio business, will join the team from Friday, May 3 when she interviews Dominic Skinner, a judge on BBC’s Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star.
She is also a fashion and beauty blogger but will cover all types of content from celebrity interviews to beauty and fashion for the programme.
Bonnie will be joining hosts Glenda Gilson, Cassie Stokes, and Nadine Reid as well as London correspondents Kirsteen O’Sullivan and Remy Naidoo on the show.
“I really couldn’t be more excited to join the Xposé team,” she said. “It’s a dream to be working on such a fun and exciting show that I myself have watched over the years. I look forward to putting my own stamp on it and am excited about this new adventure.”
Bonnie recently also landed a regular slot on Lisa Cannon’s movie show, Box Office, at the station.
She previously had a music career, first as a member of the band Lady Nada, who toured with Westlife, before going solo in 2008 and eventually leaving music for a marketing course in 2015, followed by her move into make-up.
Bonnie’s older sister Lottie Ryan is the entertainment reporter with RTE 2FM while her father Gerry Ryan, who passed away nine years ago this week, was a legendary radio and TV presenter.
Xposé airs on Virgin Media One, Friday nights at 6pm.
