Former TOWIE star Dan Osborne has taken to Instagram to deny claims he was “banned” from the reunion of the hit ITVBe series.
The dad-of-three, 29, took to his stories to tell his one million followers that he has never wanted to return to TOWIE, and hasn’t thought about going back on the show.
It had previously been reported that show bosses didn’t want Dan to return, as they thought he’d bring “negative coverage.”

However denying this, Dan, who was talking from his car, explained the reason behind his reunion no-show was “the biggest load of b******s ever.”
He continued: “I've not been on the show for five or six years and I can genuinely say, hand on heart, I've not one single time wanted to go back on that show.
"Not once. Never have I wanted to, asked to go back or even thought about going back on the show."

"That's not me being disrespectful. I appreciate that's how I started this career and how I eventually met my wife but I never wanted to go back on that show.
"I couldn't tell you what day it's on TV."
Dan, who recently beamed in a selfie next to EastEnders actress wife Jacqueline, posted several lengthy stories to Instagram.
He continued to say it was “pretty obvious someone was using [his] name” to promote the anniversary of the hit show.

“I didn't know it was being played that night. They used my name to promote a show that was going on and mug me off at the same time,” the star continued.
Finishing off his video, Dan added: ”I have long moved on from wanting to be on the show.”
The TOWIE tenth anniversary reunion show also saw stars Ferne McCann, Megan McKenna and Mark Wright choosing not to return.

And in response, TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou told The Sun: “I think it is bad that some of the original cast decided not to do the anniversary special. I think everyone should have done it.”
Since leaving the hit show Dan, who starred on TOWIE from 2013 to 2015, married wife Jacqueline in 2017 and has three children, daughters Ella, five, and Mia, two, who he shares with his wife, and son Teddy, six, from a previous relationship.
During his time on the show Dan briefly dated Lucy Mecklenburgh, yet away from it Dan’s marriage to Jacqueline is going from strength to strength with the couple even revealing that they would have another child in the future.

The ex-EastEnders actress took to her Instagram page to participate in a question and answer session with her 2.9million followers when the subject came up.
One of her fans simply asked: "You want more kids?" with Jacqueline revealing she wouldn't rule out expanding their brood.
Pondering the question, she answered: "I don't know. Not right now, but maybe one day. I feel like that's always my answer, but…," she shrugged at the camera.
