Drake, the ambassador and No. 1 fan of the Toronto Raptors, received a championship ring to celebrate the team’s first NBA championship. The rapper also had a second custom ring made for himself by Jason of Beverly Hills.
The official championship ring features 74 diamonds, representing every team win on the way to their first championship, as well as an image of the Larry O’Brien trophy and a chevron with the word “North” along with the Toronto skyline.
Drake’s custom ring has over 30 carats of diamonds. According to Jason of Beverly Hills founder Jason Arasheben, the ring is at valued at over $150,000.
“This was a championship that was dear to his heart,” Arasheben said to Complex.com. “[Drake] wanted to create an over the top ring that not only paid homage to his city but that made a statement above and beyond anything else in history.”
