Stacey Solomon has decided to take a break from social media as she prepares for the arrival of her baby girl.

Taking to Instagram to tell fans she’s “exhausted”, the Loose Women panellist told fans she would be putting away her phone for a “couple of days”.

Sharing a video of two year old son Rex chasing their dog, Peanut, the 31 year old star captioned it: “Good morning, Happy Thursday from me, the wolf pack and a very feral Rex.

“I’m going to put my phone away for a couple of days… I feel exhausted… I promise I’ll keep you updated if princes[s] pickle decides to show any signs of moving on out of my rib cage.

“I hope you’re all ok. Love you lots. Hope you have a lovely Thursday.”

Stacey had spent the day prior with Rex installing a shelf and exploring the woods together before realising she hadn’t prepared for a birthday meal with partner Joe Swash’s mother.

Posting a video of herself rushing to get ready, Joe can be heard asking Stacey to hurry as she quickly tries to prepare for the occasion, telling Joe: “Don’t rush me”.

Arriving home from the busy day, Stacey thanked her fans for their support and apologised for being quiet online.

Posting a snap of herself in bed, she wrote: “Goodnight. Sorry I’ve been so quiet it took a joint effort of me and theo to finally got the boys to sleep after they fell asleep on the way home in the car.

“Thank you for your lovely messages and support tonight. I’m so grateful for you all. Tonight and always. I love you.”

Stacey and Joe have been working hard to fix up their new home, Pickle Cottage, in preparation for their daughter’s arrival.

While Stacey managed to finish the nursery in August, the star has continued to keep busy fixing up the rest of the house, forgetting a few plans in the process.

Last week Stacey shared a hilarious Instagram story revealing Mrs Hinch and her sister had come over for a bingo night only to find Stacey in her pyjamas after she had forgotten all about it.

Posting a video of the trio rushing to get Stacey ready for the night out, the group managed to salvage their plans and make it there in time.

Stacey says in the video: "We'll get there. We'll make the 9 o'clock. Don't you worry."

While Mrs Hinch jokes: "Bingo!"
