Foo Fighters are set to return to the long-running sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live” as musical guests on the October 28th episode. The episode will be hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze.

The performance will mark Foo Fighters’ ninth time taking the “SNL” stage. The Dave Grohl-fronted band recently released their 11th album, But Here We Are.

Earlier, Foo Fighters were set to be the musical guests on “Saturday Night Live” in May, but the episode was canceled due to the since-ended writers’ strike. The band most recently appeared on the NBC program in November 2020.

Meanwhile, “SNL” returned this past weekend for its first episode since the end of the writers’ strike. Ice Spice was the musical guest, and Pete Davidson was the host.
