Paige Deville said she had decided to step down for a number of reasons including long hours and a supposed lack of support from the show. In view of her 8,771 followers, she wrote today: “I have made the decision to walk away from Gogglebox.

“It’s been an experience but one I cannot continue with due to long hours of filming, restrictiveness, control of our actions and opinions & zero aftercare support but hey who cares about ex cast, their NTA winners.”

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Gogglebox for comment.

Paige has turned comments off on her post, however many have reacted to the news on Twitter.

Gogglebox’s fan page wrote: “Sad to hear @Paige_deville and her mum Sally are leaving Gogglebox I love their sense of humour and witty comments! Good luck for the future.”

The reality star liked a series of posts from fans who were saddened by her exit.

Chloe Stothers commented: “‘Aww thats a shame you will be very much missed.

“You both are brilliant and i wish you luck with your future projects x.”

A Roberts wrote: “@Paige_deville I loved you and your mum on Gogglebox.

“Shame to see you go but you have to do what’s right for you.”

“Sorry to hear you’re leaving @Paige_deville wishing you the best of luck for the future,” Simon John added.

The 25-year-old reacted to the latest programmes for the show with her mum Sally Hayward.

The mother and daughter duo, from Birmingham, first joined the show in 2019.
