Hulu is getting ready to raise it’s prices!

The streaming service announced on Tuesday morning (September 7) that it’s ad-supported and ad-free tiers will now cost a little bit more, according to THR.

While Hulu is raising their prices, it’s only a small increase. The ad-supported tier will go up from $5.99 to $6.99, and the ad-free tier will move from $11.99 to $12.99. The live TV and Disney bundles prices will currently stay the same.

THR also reports that Hulu has “42.8 million subscribers, with 39.1 million subscribed to its SVOD subscription and 3.7 million subscribed to its live TV and SVOD plan.”

The new price increase will go into effect starting October 8th.

This news comes nine months after Disney+ announced it was raising their price points as well.
