J. Cole Celebrates 6th Anniversary Of ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’ With ‘Fire Squad’ Video

J. Cole dropped a music video for “Fire Squad” on the sixth anniversary of the release of his third album 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

The music video was directed by BBGUN and was shot in Kingston, Jamaica. In the video, a little girl plays a game of chess with an elderly person and warns him of calling himself a king.

“We all kings/ Kings of ourselves first and foremost/ While the people debate who’s the king of this rap game/ Here comes lil’ ol’ Jermaine,” Cole raps.

“A bunch of @JColeNC videos got deleted way back and today were getting them all back up. And because it’s the anniversary #FHD heres the world premiere of the never before released video for ‘Fire Squad’ Happy Holidays!” Cole’s Dreamville Records announced on Twitter.

The “Fire Squad” video joins the official music videos for “Simba,” “Lights Please,” “Lost Ones,” “Work Out,” “Who Dat,” “Can’t Get Enough” featuring Trey Songz, “Nobody’s Perfect” featuring Missy Elliott, and “Sideline Story” on Cole’s YouTube account.
