Kate Garraway has left her Good Morning Britain co-hosts in complete hysterics after revealing the kind gesture her milkman recently did for her.

The 53 year old, who was recently chased by her son Billy and a lightsaber in a sweet "homeschooling" clip, explained on live TV how her milkman Mick offered to get her "anything extra" besides her usual milk delivery.

Looking gorgeous in a red and white polkadot dress, she told Ben Shephard and viewers: "Mick, my milkman, who has just been amazing.

"He's absolutely just kept me going because he'll leave me little notes saying, ‘do you need anything extra other than the milk?'"

Ben couldn't help but laugh at her statement as he noticed the innuendo in Kate's remark. Attempting the clarify, she continued: "I mean, like bread, butter or orange juice which he also supplies, he leaves a little smiley face."

"I bet he does!" Ben, 46, replied, adding: "Are you still answering the door in your dressing gown and those fluffy slippers?"

Laughing it off, Kate joked that she also wore a "shower cap" to answer the front door. She went on: "I tell you what, Mick, thank you. Shall we move on to other people's messages now I've got myself in trouble?
