Kate Middleton Suits Up in a Sleek Navy Blazer Layered over a Salmon-Colored Sweater

In a recent video posted to the Kensington Royal Instagram, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, suited up in some sleek apparel.

Promoting the to-be-announced results from her “5 Big Questions on the Under 5s” survey, Kate layered a dark navy blazer over a salmon-colored sweater, paired with sensible black trousers. The duchess accessorized with a gold charm necklace by British jeweler Alex Monroe, which she previously wore in a video announcing the end of her “Hold Still” photography exhibition. The necklace’s charms are etched with the likenesses of fossils, animals, and other botanicals.

The U.K.-wide public survey expands on Kate’s work on early childhood development. Commissioned by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Ipsos MORI conducted the survey between January 22 and February 21. More than half a million people ended up participating.

“Earlier this year, we asked you five big questions about raising our under-fives. We wanted to hear what you think about the importance of the earliest years of our children’s lives,” the duchess said in the video. “More than half a million of you answered that call.”

She continued, “We’ve taken your input and combined it with even more public research to produce the U.K.’s biggest-ever study on the early years. This year has been a hugely challenging time for us all, and there hasn’t been a more important moment to talk about families.”

The duchess will announce the official survey results later this week.
