Katie Price says she now feels “amazing and focused” and has publicly praised fiance Carl Woods for supporting her following a difficult few months, which saw her enter rehab to receive treatment following her drink-drive crash in September.

The 43-year-old came to Instagram to post her message of thanks to Carl and those closest to her that have also helped the star back to recovery.

"Feeling very blessed to have such loving and caring people around me,” Katie wrote on Thursday.

"With my amazing kids. Carl Woods you've been my rock! Thank you to everyone!

"I'm feeling amazing and focused. Thank you to all my fans for the support and warm wishes over the past few months."

The ex glamour model pleaded guilty to driving under the influence after the crash and was ordered by a judge to spend time at The Priory – a rehab facility in South West London.

She also pleaded guilty to one count of driving without insurance, and one count of driving while disqualified.

“I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all,” she confessed to police officers at the time.

The TV personality is awaiting to be sentenced on 15 December.

Last month Katie spoke in a clip about how the aftermath of the crash has affected her and her family.

“I got in my car, had a collision. I regret it. I have upset people around me, and I have upset myself,” she said whilst sitting next to partner Carl.

"I could have been hurt or I could have been dead. I could have killed someone, or I could have injured someone."

Katie went to rehab facility The Priory in the weeks following her car accident which led many to believe she was receiving treatment for issues with alcohol and drugs, which she recently denied on Netmums podcast Sweat, Snot & Tears.

“People think I went into The Priory because of drink and drugs, it’s not true. It’s because of everything I’ve been through,” she said.

“There is a build-up of events. I’ve had to deal with so much. Three incidents have happened to me in the last few months that led me to going in The Priory.

“I’ve been coping with life quite well, but it’s the incidents. I didn’t ask for any of these incidents to happen, but they are quite serious incidents. It’s a mental health hospital. I said to my mum, I’m not in rehab.

“Every week I see my therapist. I can rant at him, and not those people close to me.”

The mother-of-five revisited The Priory after returning home from her trip to Las Vegas last month for a “well-needed session” and has continued therapy there, opening up about it to followers.

"Tip of the day: Don't think about what can happen in a month. Don't think about what can happen in a year. Just focus on the 24 hours in front of you and do what you can get closer to where you want to be,” she wrote.
