On the pink carpet, Ezra disrobed to reveal his mind-bending make-up, which saw three sets of eyes painted on his face, as well as a third eye in the middle of his forehead.

Honestly, you try looking at his face for more than five seconds and a) remembering which ones are his real eyes and b) not falling over from dizziness.

Ezra didn’t rest on the freaky make-up, either.

The actor wore a pin-stripe suit with a long train, beneath a crystal boned corset, and paired the look with scarlet lips, a white manicure and diamond studded brogues.

Men, this is how you take a suit and fit the brief. Take a bow, Ezra.

Oddly enough, Miller wasn’t the only star playing with the face-off theme at this year’s Met Gala.

Jared Leto carried his own head on the pink carpet for a very serial killer take on camp.

The 47-year-old wore a red silk jumpsuit, draped with crystal body jewellery, but we couldn’t focus on his outfit because, we repeat, he was carrying his own head.

While many of the men at the gala disappointed by wearing black suits or even hoodies (ahem, Kanye West, Frank Ocean, see me after class), there was lots of gender-bending at play.

Michael Urie played with Victor/Victoria vibes, wearing half a pink tulle gown and half a pinstripe tux.

However, he wore his natural beard on the ‘feminine side’ and full glam make-up on the suited side.

Meanwhile, after slaying the Oscars in a tuxedo dress, Pose’s Billy Porter got carried into the gala by shirtless men, before he revealed his gold spangled bodysuit complete with wings.

We know what we’re wearing to our grandma’s birthday party…
