The star told OK! Online: “Sex should be encouraged to speak about because when I was younger sex education was nothing, it wasn’t a thing, it was like ‘put a condom on and that’ll be that.’
“Speaking about it and raising awareness makes it a much more comfortable thing to speak about.”
Malin recently joined Lovehoney’s Virtual Camp as a speaker, to discuss how to lead a sexually happy life.
While talking about Love Island, being trolled, and life as a plus size mode, the star also revealed her advice on dating during a pandemic.
She said: “My advice would be getting to know yourself and being on your own. In all honesty, being alone is important and healthy and I think there’s no point in rushing and getting into a relationship just because. There’s no point in it! When you’re ready to meet someone you will, during lockdown or after lockdown.”
Malin, who recently showed off the results of her gorgeous purple hair transformation, admitted that despite being vocal about most things in her life, she doesn’t tend to share much about her dating life.

“When it comes to dating, I don’t really post much about that. I’ve been on a few dates recently but until I meet the one there’s no point posting anything about that, so I do keep that private,” revealed the star.
Malin recently opened up on knowing what she wants from a relationship, and wrote in her OK! column: “I know all the red flags now, I know what to look out for. But I won't attract that anymore because I'm in a good place, your mind attracts your reality.
"I have gone on dates in the past, but I wasn't really interested and felt there was no point because it's a waste of time. You're just trying to fill the time with it. There's no point.
"If a person now comes into my life, then I'll know straight away. I think it will be love at first sight.”
