EXCLUSIVE: How Love Island’s Molly Marsh could be the show’s REAL winner thanks to ‘six-figure brand deals’ and acting connections

She finished in a lowly fourth place after a night of surprises – not all of them pleasant – saw Sammy Root and Jess Harding win the latest summer edition of Love Island.

But inevitable disappointment could soon turn to unbridled joy for fledgling actress Molly Marsh upon her return to the United Kingdom with fitness instructor boyfriend Zachariah Noble.

Brand and culture experts believe her stage school background, connections to broadcasting giant ITV and the added benefit of having an actress mother could help secure her numerous brand endorsements, TV appearances and, potentially, a successful West End career.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Molly has already been approached by numerous brands keen to work with her off the back of Love Island.

‘With six-figure deals already rolling in from clothing brands, travel companies and beauty brands, she could be the real winner of the show.’

Unexpected: On a night of surprises – not all of them pleasant – Sammy Root and Jess Harding won the latest summer edition of Love Island

The source added: ‘I can see her using her stage school credentials to follow in the footsteps of Amber Davies, who has become a West End star and has made hundreds of thousands in doing so.

‘Already a social media influencer in her own right I can see the confident star becoming a spokesperson for multiple brands.’

Amber had trained as an actress and dancer before appearing on Love Island in 2017, subsequently winning the show with then boyfriend Kem Cetinay.

She has since carved out a successful stage career with prominent roles in hit musicals 9 To 5, Bring It On, Back To The Future, and more recently, Pretty Woman.

Former stage school student Molly entered the villa with pre-established showbiz connections through her mother, Janet Marsh – an actress who once starred on Coronation Street.

She walked the show’s hallowed cobbles on three separate occasions, with all three roles in the medical profession.

Her first appearance was back in 2005, where she played a nurse. She then joined the soap again in March 2008 playing a receptionist at the Scott-Roe Clinic.

A year later, Janet returned to Weatherfield, this time to portray an ITU nurse after character Claire Peacock was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious at home.

Stunner: Molly boasted a whopping number of social media followers before entering the villa – an accolade most stars achieve after the show

Janet has had quite the TV career, having bagged other credits in shows such as Where The Heart Is, Bodies, In The Dark, Love, Lies and Records.

She has also had a role in Still Open All Hours as well as short film Cerulean in which she played a news reporter.

The talented actress has also done some voiceover work, with jobs including CBBC.

Speaking to The Sun about the time she appeared on the cobbles, Janet said: ‘I was a receptionist at an abortion clinic, with Michelle Keegan when she first started out. It was one of her first jobs, but she was lovely, really really nice.’

Janet also teaches drama and owns her own performing arts school.

Following in her mum’s footsteps, it’s believed Molly has bagged roles in national tours of Oliver! and Sleeping Beauty before trying her luck on the small screen.

Popular: Molly was already one of the stand-out stars before Love Island had even started

Molly is thought to have caught the producers’ eyes after taking a tour of the winter villa in Cape Town, South Africa in January – an opportunity rarely afforded those without professional ties to the show.

Her grid on the photo-sharing platform is littered with snaps from her trip to the South African mansion, including in the beach hut and fire pit.

Molly said of her claims to fame: ‘With my job being in social media, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to go on press trips and I’ve actually been out to the Love Island Villas in Mallorca and South Africa…

‘Having the experience to walk around both was amazing but to now actually live in the Villa is going to be incredible.
