This Morning host Phillip Schofield, 58, has taken the opportunity to warn his fans who may suffer from arachnophobia before sharing a video of a “huge” spider with his 3.2 million Instagram followers this evening. The presenter discovered the eight legged insect in his house and explained it was “that time of year” when spiders begin to appear in people’s homes around the UK.
He wrote before posting the fear-inducing clip: “Warning… video of a huge spider is next.”
Phillip then zoomed his camera in on the creature, which appeared to be sitting on some patterned wallpaper.
Speaking about his find, the television personality said: “Ah here we go.
“It’s that time of the year… first one.”

Fortunately, Phillip didn’t seem too frightened of the spider in the video.
He made light of the scary situation and jokingly told the big spider: “Hello my friend, I’ve got some furniture I need moving.
“Can you give me a hand?”
Earlier today, Phillip took to the social media platform again to celebrate his white wine winning bronze at the 2020 International Wine & Spirit Competition.
He shared a snap of himself relaxing in the garden with the award-winning wine resting on a table in front of him.
The star captioned the snap: “OMG!! My white wine just took the bronze at the 2020 International Wine & Spirit Competition… considered to be the most prestigious competition of its kind in the world!!
“I am SO thrilled!! Congratulations @wheninromewine @theiwsc.”
Fans took to the comments section of Phillip’s post to congratulate him on the achievement.

Alongside his wine project and work on This Morning, Phillip has been keeping busy during the coronavirus lockdown by writing his new tell-all book, Life’s What You Make It, which details the “ups and downs” in his career and family life.
Phillip said he wrote the first line of his book in his head aged 14.
In 2017, he went on to pen the first chapter, but couldn’t finish it because the time wasn’t right.
Earlier this year, Phillip came out as gay on Instagram and This Morning after 27 years of marriage to his wife Stephanie Lowe.
The married couple share two daughters together; Ruby and Molly.
