Sharika’s ex Gerard Piqué has gone Instagram official with his new girlfriend.

Gerard, 35, and Shakira, 45, dated for 11 years and announced their separation last summer.

While the pair never married, they share two children together: Milan, 10, and Sasha, seven.

It appears to have been a bitter break up between the two, with songstress Shakira having since released what’s been dubbed a “diss track” about her former love.

Barcelona star Gerard appears unfazed by the song, however, and has now gone Instagram official with his new 23 year old girlfriend.

The footballer is dating PR student Clara Chia – who is thought to be mentioned in Shakira’s recent song.

It’s believed the couple started dating just two months after his split from Waka Waka hitmaker Shakira.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 25 January, Gerard posted a selfie taken by Clara of the pair looking undeniably loved-up.

The new flames appear to be sitting at a table together as Gerard leans in close to his new girlfriend for the snap.

The photo has already raked up over two million likes from Gerard’s fans.

Their blossoming romance comes amid reports that Gerard cheated on ex partner Shakira, who “worked out” his alleged infidelities.

Amid Clara and Gerard’s new romance, Shakira hinted at him allegedly cheating on her in her new song titled Te Felicito. In the music video, the singer opens the refrigerator, where she finds the song's collaborator Rauw Alejandro's head. The scene has led many fans to believe she found the "truth in the fridge".

Now,The Mirrorreports that according to multiple South American news outlets, this was what happened when Shakira returned home from her travels to find a jar of jam completely empty in her fridge, despite Gerard and their kids Milan and Sasha not liking the flavour.

ShowNews Todayreported that the jam would not have been eaten by Gerard, which led to Shakira believing he had cheated on her.

At the time of their break up last summer, Shakira issued a short statement sharing the news.

"We regret to confirm that we are parting ways,” it read. “For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding."

The former flames met in 2010 while filming the music video for Shakira's World Cup hit Waka Waka together.

As Gerard makes his relationship Instagram official, Shakira has recently been spotted looking happier than ever as she waved at fans from the balcony of her Barcelona property.
