SEBASTIAN SHAKESPEARE: Sophie Anderton still aims to reign as a fashion icon

Having swapped lingerie modelling and wild parties to become a Count’s fiancee in the Irish countryside, Sophie Anderton has found she can’t part ways with her glamorous lifestyle for good.

The 43-year-old has decided to launch her own style channel via Instagram, which will feature videos of her modelling and talking about her favourite sartorial finds.

‘In light of my absolute unwavering love for fashion, I decided to bite the bullet and launch a weekly fashion segment,’ says Sophie, who is due to marry Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill this year.

Keen to include both High Street and luxury, she adds: ‘Fashion for me is about individuality and an expression of oneself, there is no rule that suits all.’

 Oi, Boris, sort it ahht!

Watch out, Boris! Hollywood hard man Ray Winstone has hit out at the Government after being forced to pay hundreds for Covid tests in England while the same abroad are free.

‘Me and my wife had to fly to Sicily on a bit of business. We had to get fit-to-fly Covid tests, which cost £149 each,’ says the 64-year-old.

‘We were tested at Palermo airport — it was free. After five days in isolation, we were tested in Bivona and Sicily, and that was free.’

In a rant online, the Sexy Beast star adds: ‘When we’re leaving Palermo, we have to have two tests when we get home — at £149 each. Can someone tell me why the f*** we’re paying for this?

‘It’s like another tax. The Government tell us on May 17 people can go on holiday again . . . How can a normal family of four afford a holiday, then two grand on top for the tests?

‘I’ve been supportive of the powers-that-be until now, but this needs to be looked at.’

Songstress Kirsty hits a new high

Kirsty Bertarelli (pictured with her artist friend, Ellie Cardozo) is the fourth richest woman in Britain, with a fortune of £9.2 billion

She’s the fourth richest woman in Britain, with a fortune of £9.2 billion, and now songwriter Kirsty Bertarelli has another reason to feel on top of the world.

The former Miss UK reveals she has finally scaled the 4,524ft Mont Saleve in Geneva, where she has a £10 million home with her husband, Italian-born Swiss businessman Ernesto Bertarelli.

‘My first time hiking Mont Saleve in over 20 years being here. Crazy,’ says the 49-year-old mother of three, who was accompanied on the quest by her artist friend, Ellie Cardozo, and Ellie’s husband, Rupert ‘Rupes’ Fryer.

Despite being awarded a CBE for services to music, The Who lead singer Roger Daltrey insists he has no interest in an upgrade.

‘That’s the trouble — because I’m a CBE, everyone says: ‘When are you going to get a knighthood?’ says Daltrey, 77.

‘I don’t know whether I want one. It’s not like they’re important to you.’

How very rock ‘n’ roll.

Norton has his latest role licked

Actor James Norton admits he enjoyed playing a posh playboy in a new TV series, The Nevers

Actor James Norton, often tipped as the next 007, admits he enjoyed playing a posh playboy in a new TV series, The Nevers, which includes a scene where he licks a woman’s foot.

‘They cut the bit where I really went for the toes. Sadly, they thought it was too much,’ says Norton, 35.

The series, on Sky Atlantic from Monday, is set in 1890s Victorian London. He plays Hugo Swann, the proprietor of a sex club, and adds: ‘I find it seductive because I’m British and therefore am probably quite repressed.

‘There’s a lot of life where I wish I was far more charismatic and just lived with abandon like Hugo does. It’s fun to walk on to a set and get a taste of it.’

Lord Sugar was flummoxed while presenting the new series of Celebrity Apprentice in Australia.

‘It was a bunch of celebrities and I did not know who they were,’ he says.

‘So that was a kind of advantage to me. I told them: ”I don’t give a damn who you are. For me you don’t mean anything.” I said to them: ”You could be the best singer on God’s earth but it does not mean anything to me mate. Sorry.” ‘
