Actor Tim Conway, known for his role in The Carol Burnett Show where he won Emmys and a Golden Globe, has passed away at the age of 85.
According to People, before his death, “he suffered complications from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) and had no signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s.”
According to Alz.com, NPH “is a brain disorder in which excess cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) accumulates in the brain’s ventricles, causing thinking and reasoning problems, difficulty walking,” among other symptoms.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please donate to The Lou Ruvo Brain Center at the Cleveland Clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Throughout his career, he starred in his own show The Tim Conway Show, was a voice on Spongebob Squarepants, and appeared on 30 Rock.
