BABY Archie will "heal Prince William and Prince Harry's feud" as the brothers "want their kids to know their cousins", a royal insider has claimed.

Rumours of a rift between the two Princes have been circulating after Prince William's concerns about his brother's whirlwind romance with Meghan Markle reportedly "went down quite badly" with Prince Harry.

However, baby Archie could be the key to "healing" Prince William and Prince Harry's  relationship, People has reported.

A source close to the Royal household told the American publication: "William and Harry will want their children to know their cousins and do things together so they will work harder at their relationship.

"The brothers will have a different kind of relationship now and move on."

Additionally, another source said that the "Fab Four" – as Prince William, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were known for a time – could only last so long.

Another source added: "There was power in that unity and great strength in the foursome but I can see why it is happening.

"There is always that tension: trying to do the PR thing and then realising that they are just real people. They want their own place and their own things."

In preparation of Archie's arrival, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved out of their home in Kensington Palace and spent millions renovating the Grade-II listed building in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Following the arrival of his first nephew, Prince William told royal fans during a visit to Cutty Sark: "We’re thrilled, absolutely thrilled and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down.
