WHETHER you are someone that gets your nails done or not, you will know that there are endless nail shapes and designs to choose from.
From a simple and elegant French manicure to a dark black for Winter, or if glitter or 3D nail art is your thing, choosing a nail design can be quite a challenging decision to make.
But according to Celebrity Nail Artist Kristen, who is known on TikTok as Nails by Kristen, there are three nail designs that she strongly dislikes.
Kristen has amassed 8,601 followers and 497.5k likes on the video sharing platform and iIn one of her recent videos, the nail whizz revealed the three nail styles that she absolutely hates.
Not only does she have a strong distaste for these nail styles, but she hates them so much that she would actually refuse to do them if a customer requested them.
She posted the clip with the caption ‘These nails are NOT it’.

She said: “Cheugy nail trends you couldn’t pay me to do.
“Like, absolutely not – nope.
“I puke as a nail artist”.
For those that aren’t aware, 'cheugy' is an American neologism of lifestyle trends associated with the early 2010s and millennials.

This aesthetic has been described as 'the opposite of trendy' or 'trying too hard'.
According to Kristen, the nail designs that she really hates are: “Deep or super thick French, lipstick shape and duck nails”.

Duck nails in particular, which resemble the shape of a fan at the top of the nail, instead of tapering in, she described as “so ugly”.
In just one day, Kristen’s video has racked up a whopping 163.8k views and 6,757 likes.
Many TikTok users agreed with Kristen and took to the comments to reflect this.
One person said: “Same”.
Another added: “I didn’t even know lipstick nails were a thing”.
A third commented: “The thick French tips are so tacky”.
Someone else joked: “People pay for these????”
