It’s been 18 years since Atomic Kitten released their last album as a group, but now they’re making a dramatic comeback with their new hit Southgate You’re the One – a remix of their iconic track Whole Again.

The 90s girl group unveiled the song in time for England’s semi-final match against Denmark. And while there was obvious excitement surrounding the game, fans were also getting excited about the Atomic Kitten members looking almost exactly the same as they did nearly 20 years ago – especially Liz McClarnon.

The trio – which consists of founding member Liz, and late joiners Jenny Frost and Natasha Hamilton – were photographed yesterday outside Global Radio in London, and the three barely looked like they’d aged a day.

“Love this. You ladies look better than you did all those years ago,” says one fan under one of Liz’s recent Instagram posts, which shows off their current looks.

“You look lovely. You’ve never altered,” another adds.

Liz’s fans have a point – she does indeed look incredibly youthful. The now 40 year old was just 22 when the group parted ways, but she still has a very similar light blonde shade of hair (minus the chunky highlights, of course), and a wispy fringe.

The Liverpool-born beauty often shares snaps of herself with her 64k Instagram followers, and just a few weeks ago she treated fans to a throwback from her early Atomic Kitten days.

Having swapped her usually sleek hair for a full head of bouncy curls, Liz reminisces about the Be With You track she wore this look for.

“You looked amazing, my fave part is when you flip your hair against the wall,” one fan remembers, while another says: “We all loved this hair on you”.

Here’s to hoping Atomic Kitten are back for good and serve us some iconic beauty looks soon.
