Disney+ has revealed which months in 2020 The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and WandaVision will be released.

It must be pretty tricky to tie together two or three movies successfully. To have threads throughout and callbacks to things that happened in different films. Imagine deciding to do that across more than 20 different movies. That’s what the masterminds behind the MCU decided to do over a decade ago and so far they have enjoyed tremendous success.

The MCU’s first three phases culminated last summer with Avengers: Endgame. However, despite the movie’s title, this is really just the beginning for the MCU. Not only do Marvel Studios have movies planned for the next few years, but it will also be adding TV shows to the mix. Not shows loosely connected to the MCU like Jessica Jones and Daredevil, but integral parts that will have knock-on effects to what we see on the big screen.

Marvel fans got their first glimpse of the three TV shows Disney has planned for the MCU during the Super Bowl. If you missed the spot, or you just want to watch it again, you can do so above. First up will be The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, next up will be WandaVision, and then Loki.

Marvel Studios’ CEO Bob Iger has now confirmed release dates for two of those shows, reports The Verge. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will kick off the MCU’s deep dive into the TV world this August. WandaVision will then follow a few months later in December. As for Loki, that doesn’t yet have an exact release date, but we do know it’s coming sometime in 2021.

All of the MCU TV shows will be exclusive to Disney+, of course, and consist of six episodes each. As we learned from The Mandalorian, fans will not be able to binge those show all at once unless they wait for all six to be released. Disney+ is committed to releasing new episodes of its TV shows every week and honestly, we like that idea. Stops us from watching entire TV shows in one day and then having to wait another year for anything new.
