Dr Pimple Popper left viewers amazed when she drained a man's giant cysts using 33 syringes – with people comparing the mystery liquid to the energy drink "Mountain Dew".

In the clip, uploaded on the dermatologist's official @drpimplepopperTikTok account, she shows how a patient called Delano is suffering from a mysteriously lumpy back.

The medic, real name Sandra MD, numbs the area with local anesthetic and gets to work pumping out the cysts' contents.

She says: "This is definitely not a lipoma. I don't know why it's there. I don't know why it's collecting but there is obviously something that is leaking and I don't know where it's coming from."

Dr Pimple Popper warns him that even if she drains the lumps, they will probably fill up again.

Her patient is devastated and says: "Here we go again. It feels like nobody can help me."

Dr Pimple Popper eventually gets his back "as flat as possible" and reveals a whopping 33 syringes were filled which is nearly an entire litre.

Later, she informed Delano the lab results indicated he had lymphangioma and, although she couldn't permanently remove it herself, she found a surgeon willing to do it for free.

The video was watched more than 2 million times after it was uploaded on Wednesday (November 24) and thousands of viewers commented.

One person said: "Omg poor guy I hope he gets this fixed permanently."

"He looks so sad and it makes me sad," wrote another.

Someone else made light of it and joked it was an "infinite Mountain Dew glitch", while another person called it "forbidden Mountain Dew".

According to Healthline, lymphangioma is a fluid-filled cyst that occurs in lymphatic vessels.

The yellow liquid is lymph, a liquid that works with the immune system to fight infections.

Delano managed to get his problem permanently solved with the free surgery Dr Lee helped to arrange.
