Emma Willis has shared a dramatic new hair transformation with her fans, and it couldn’t look more different to her usual hairstyle.
Usually recognisable for her long bob hairstyle, often worn in tousled waves and currently coloured a chocolate brown shade, the 45 year old’s new look is a much darker brunette complete with a sharp, ear-to-ear fringe.
Sharing two snaps to Instagram Stories with the rest of her hair in a top knot, Emma wrote, “He doesn’t let me look when he does my barnet…” later adding, “Or rest my head when I sleep” as she lay on a sofa.
Emma’s go-to hairdresser Louis Byrne also shared a grid post with the same photo of his client hiding her face behind a piece of paper, which looked to have been used as a guide for the fringe.
“In the words of Ricky Martin 'she bangs she bangs', he captioned the snap.
“@emmawillisofficial and I have a hot fresh now look coming at you. All to be revealed. Good job she trusts me hey!!”
Although this look could have been created as a one-off for a shoot the pair were working on, the edgy style does suit Emma’s cool-girl aesthetic and so there’s a good chance that this is her real hair.
In previous years The Voice presenter has sported a sharp bleach blonde quiff, which she later grew out into her signature long bob, though she has been a brunette for the majority of this year.
Real or not, many of Louis’s followers were very excited about Emma’s latest hair look either way.
"Omg how exciting is this!!!" one wrote in the comments section.
"@Emmawillisofficial always looks phenomenal with yourself and @amandahbowen top skills…" another added, referencing Emma’s go-to makeup artist Amanda Bowen.
We can’t wait to find out if Emma really has gone for the chop!
