A fitness coach urged her followers to be kinder about their bodies.
Sports scientist Hayley Madigan has learned to love her body over the years.
When she used to enter fitness competitions, she used to feel self conscious about any blemishes on her body.
Cellulite was one of her biggest insecurities – but she’s grown to embrace it.
Hayley, who is based in Portsmouth, said: ”I used to be very insecure about my legs and tried my damn hardest to get rid of it of any cellulite.
“Years I struggled to accept it, it never went even when I was stupidly low body fat, I still had it! Even on stage!”
Hayley added: “So the only way I could accept myself and show the full respect I deserved was to EMBRACE IT.
“And damn, I wish I started sooner.
“Being confident in yourself and showing yourself the love you deserve is the best gift you can give yourself.”
So how can you embrace your “flaws” like the fitness star has?
According to Hayley, you should be as kind to yourself as you are to others.
Hayley advised: “Stop treating yourself differently to how you would treat others.
“Stop forcing yourself to do everything perfectly every single day.
“Right now we face a long road back to normality and it may be causing some anxiety for a lot of us so my advice is.
“Be supportive – not just to others but to yourself! Be kind – to your own body and your own mind!
“Have empathy to others but also to your own mindset! And most of all be sympathetic to YOURSELF!”
Hayley’s has post garnered more than 16,600 likes in recent days – and many praised the gym buff for speaking so candidly about her body.
One commenter remarked: “YES QUEEN! Thank you for saying what we all need to hear.”
Another said: “You are so encouraging always.”
And a third added: “Love this so much! Self love.”
