Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Monday a strict three-week police-enforced lockdown in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic. The PM said that all shops other than a small handful of exceptions will be forced to close “until further notice”.

While some of the nation’s best-loved brands – including John Lewis, New Look, and IKEA – are temporarily closing in a bid to prevent the spread and mutation of COVID-19.

Shoppers won’t be able to purchase anything in-store, but that doesn’t mean that people who are stuck at home can’t get their hands on the things they need or want.

Many of the brands closing down their high street branches are still operating an online delivery service – and in some cases, they are even waiving delivery fees and extending their refund rights to help customers out.
