The Moon affects the tides and we’re made of 60 percent water, so why wouldn’t the Moon have some sort of control over us? On a Full Moon, some people say we are moved to eliminate what stands in the way of our dreams or get rid of what no longer serves us. The specific impacts of Full Moons depend on what sign the Moon is in. This Full Moon is in Sagittarius and it’s a Lunar Eclipse, so its powers will be even stronger. What’s YOUR horoscope for Wednesday’s Sagittarius Full Moon Lunar Eclipse? Express.co.uk chatted to Moon Mentor and author of Sunday Times Bestseller, Lunar Living: Working with the Magic of the Moon Cycles, Kirsty Gallagher (@kirsty_gallagher_ on Instagram) to find out.
The Sagittarius Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will be in the sky on Wednesday, May 26 at 12.14pm and it will be pretty transformative.
Kirsty said: “The last Full Moon in Scorpio helped illuminate the skies and your life to create necessary inner transformation.
“Then came the Taurus New Moon to lay inner foundations and help you to get rooted in what matters to you, who you are and what you desire.
“Nowhere comes the Sagittarius total Lunar Eclipse to help release anything that is not in alignment with your greatest expansion and truth.”
You might already be able to feel the wild planetary activity going on in the lead up to the Full Moon.
Kirsty said: “The first thing I want to say is to please have trust in all that happens in this Eclipse season.
“We are being so supported right now and I truly feel that this is the time we have been waiting for and this is what our souls have prepared for.
“Trust in you, life, the Moon, planets and allow it all to unfold as it should.”
As mentioned, Lunar Eclipses are powerful release points and tend to bring endings.
Kirsty explained: “You’ll be forced to let go of anything that is no longer serving you but that you have been afraid to let go of.
“The Moon is here to reveal truths, get your attention about things that aren’t working and nudge you back on the right path.
“Whatever you feel stirring, act on it, or you may find the energies of this eclipse doing it for you.”
Under this Full Moon, Sagittarius – the explorer and restless wanderer of the zodiac – meets the South Node.
Kirsty said we’ll all be shown where we stay in our comfort zones and don’t allow ourselves the expansion and freedom to follow where our hearts want us to go in this lifetime.
She said: “A Sagittarius moon will always shine a big Full Moonlight upon all that confines and binds you and anywhere you feel controlled, not being able to speak your truth or where you are not doing what you really love.
“You may feel literally claustrophobic or suffocated when it comes to these areas of your life.”
This moon is here to free you, Kirsty said.
She explained: “If you are ready to step out of your comfort zone and expand towards all that you desire, this Lunar Eclipse will help strip away all that is no longer for you.
“Open your arms and heart and mind wide open and allow all that needs to fall away to fall away.
“Recapture your sense of possibility and deep trust in yourself, push against boundaries that hold you back and expand your horizons into what is possible for you in this life.”
