Love Island may be over, but the romance is just getting started for our favourite couples, with Adam Collard and Paige Thorne finally making it home to Wales as they reunited with Paige’s family.
Swapping the sun soaked backdrop of Mallorca for the equally stunning coast of Swansea, the loved up couple were seen making the most of their time together as Paige introduced Newcastle born Adam to her hometown.
Documenting their visit on social media, the pair appeared to be in high spirits as they explored some of Paige’s old haunts, including an adorable visit to The Mumbles, a stunning beach on the edge of Swansea’s coast.
Alongside a dreamy view of the beach itself, which featuring glistening blue waters and plenty of sunshine to boot, Paige and Adam even took a few minutes out to tuck into some ice cream together.
Sharing a snap of Paige alongside a small tub packed to the brim with chocolate ice cream, Adam cheekily commented: “Anything chocolate and she’s happy.”
Later in the evening, Paige also shared a cozy selfie alongside her beau as they posed outside a restaurant with their arms around each other.
Dressed in a casual but chic pair of grey trousers and a black bustier, Paige looked dressed to impress as she stood alongside Adam who stuck to a signature black ensemble consisting of black jeans and a plain black tee.
Paige was also seen reuniting with one of her pals for a night on the town as she looked dressed to impress in a stunning black jumpsuit with cut-out detailing on the thigh.
The visit to Wales comes just days after Adam had vowed to visit Paige’s home country, even promising to come “wrapped in a Welsh flag” as he attempted to win over Paige’s mum and earn her blessing.
The comment was a direct reference to the Meet the Parents episode of the popular dating series, in which Paige’s mum had been less than impressed with her new flame after she fell for Adam, shortly after being coupled up with Jacques.
In savage scenes, Paige’s mum told her that she thought “she seemed happier with Jacques” leaving the stunning paramedic shocked and wounded by her lack of support.
In a bid to turn things around, Adam told Paige during this year’s reunion show: "I'm coming wrapped in the Welsh flag, there will be chocolates.”
He then turned to his girlfriend and cheekily added "No perfume for you it is all for your mum," while she laughed in response.
The latest outing also laid to bed any earlier split rumours, after the couple had been forced to defend themselves as rumours began to swirl just days after the tumour.
During an Instagram Q&A one fan had asked Adam: "Are you and Paige still together?” after they two had gone home separately to reunite with their families before meeting up again.
"I bloody hope so since I'm seeing her tomorrow," Adam replied.
"Course we are, I can't wait just family comes first x."
Adam and Paige came fifth on Love Island 2022, which saw Ekin-Su Cülüloglu and Davide Sanclimenti scoop the cash prize.
Meanwhile, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish placed runners-up, while Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope came third and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page came fourth.
