Stacey Solomon recently unveiled the impressive games room at her £1.2million family home, having spent weeks completely transforming the space.

The Loose Women star, 32, had been busy making the room into the ultimate hangout spot for her fiancé Joe Swash's 40th birthday present.

She finally presented Joe with the finished games room on his birthday, and it's safe to say the former EastEnders actor was delighted with the incredible space.

Mum of four Stacey documented the entire process over on her popular Instagram page, from spray painting the cupboards to creating Joe his very own juice bar.

Now, interior experts from Stelrad have totalled up the cost of Joe's 40th birthday present, and it's estimated that Stacey spent nearly £4,000 creating the games room.

When Stacey first revealed she was giving the 'Cluedo' room a makeover, her first step was to change the colour of the cupboards and the walls.

Known for her DIY hacks and home transformations, Stacey got to work spray painting the entire room a shade of light blue.

She carefully sprayed the entire storage unit in the room, and it now looks worlds away from its original state.

The mum of four also had all of the carpet removed from the room, and it was replaced with a glossy new laminate flooring.

The painting process is estimated to have cost around £300, while the new flooring will have came to around £800.

She then purchased a stunning cream corner sofa for the room, which comes with a price tag ranging from a minimum of £500 up to a maximum of £800.

The seating area was then decorated with a selection of personalised scatter cushions, which retail at £19.99 per cushion.

One of the other main features of the room is the huge pool table which has been installed in the centre of the space.

Stacey first unveiled the table on her Instagram Stories, and revealed that she'd convinced Joe he wouldn't be getting one for his birthday to make it the ultimate surprise.

The stunning table matches the interior theme perfectly, and is believed to have set Stacey back a whopping £1450.

A cheaper feature of Stacey and Joe's games room is the 'juice bar' which Stacey recently created.

She created the quirky refreshment section in one of the alcoves, and used various budget-friendly products to bring her vision to life. In total, the bar only cost around £30.

Another shelf is littered with memorabilia from significant achievements during Joe's career, including his hat from I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and his trophies from MasterChef and Dancing on Ice.

Displayed across the top shelf is a signed Albert Square plaque, after Joe's stint as Micky Miller in EastEnders from 2003 until 2008.

The signed edition of the famous street sign will set you back around £150.

The interior experts from Stelrad said: "Stacey Solomon has done an incredible job like always. She might have complained about how long it took on her Instagram stories, but we can easily say the wait was worth it. For anyone looking to update their games room, then Stacey’s should definitely be used as inspiration.

"We love the blue-grey colour that she has used on the units, rather than change them completely she has just added that little bit extra to them. And the personal touches of the fish handles are a great addition. This is a brilliant example of transforming something old into the best room (man cave) ever.

"Now the room has a more modern, contemporary vibe. Gone is the carpet, which has instead been replaced with a chic, light wooden floor. And the built-in cabinets tie everything together in their new colour, which just goes to show how far a new lick of fresh paint will go.

"Will room makeovers be the new gift that people give their partners this Valentine’s Day we wonder?"
