Despite Monday’s high of 84 degrees, Lady Gaga headed to her show at the Apollo Theater clad in a head-to-toe black leather ensemble that was equal parts bondage-chic and Old Hollywood-inspired.
The 33-year-old “Bad Romance” balladeer wore a tiny bandeau top along with a belted trumpet midi skirt and long opera gloves, all by Georgian designer Akà Prodiàshvili, who draws inspiration from drag queens like Sasha Velour and Violet Chachki along with the greater LGBTQ community.
Gaga accessorized with lace-up platform boots and her beloved Celine 16 bag ($4,550) — both also black leather, of course.
Post-show, the pop icon changed into a look that was far cooler and more casual: an oversized Green Day T-shirt, worn pantsless along with knee-high black boots.
