Step into the extraordinary world of a makeup magician with the uncanny ability to morph into anyone you can imagine.

With a touch of latex, a dash of cotton wool, and a sprinkle of theatrical cosmetics, Evelin Costa can shape-shift into your favourite celebrities and iconic figures.

Makeup has always been her passion, with her turning it into a business at the age of 15.

With a diploma in beauty therapy under her belt, Evelin quickly gained a reputation as the go-to makeup artist in Shepparton.

Her glamorous looks delighted clients, but her daring creations during the global pandemic truly captivated audiences.

While the world was in the grip of coronavirus restrictions, Evelin decided to put her skills to the test and turn herself into celebs such as Khloe Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles and Johnny Depp.

Little did she know that her TikTok videos would go viral, racking hundreds of thousands of views and making her an overnight sensation.

Hailing from Shepparton, a town located 181 kilometres northeast of Melbourne, Australia, Evelin had an empty client chair due to the lockdown.

She embarked on the ambitious project of recreating many celebs distinctive features to keep herself entertained and spread some positive vibes during these challenging times.

Before joining TikTok in 2019, Evelin had experience creating video content through YouTube and Instagram.

But it was TikTok that reignited her creative spark. Her first video, which she describes as 'an impulsive decision to try something new', unexpectedly went viral.

Comments poured in, with people praising her incredible skills and likening her work to a masterpiece. Some even humorously insisted that it should make the news headlines.

"The response on social media was overwhelming!" Evelin shared.

"I even received comments like 'you are so bloody talented' and 'I thought this was a drawing.' It's incredible! I'm so thrilled that people loved it.

"One woman wrote, 'I can't even with this; I don't want to scroll past it ever.' That was the best compliment! Someone said it was the best thing they'd seen all week."

Since posting her first video, Evelin, known as Makeup by Evelin on TikTok, has achieved a significant milestone of 1.3m followers.

Fans can't get enough of her incredible ability to mimic famous faces – from Lady Gaga to Kim Craig from the Australian sitcom Kath and Kim.

She's even transformed herself into Peppa Pig!

Her TikTok video which saw her transform into the iconic Miley Cyrus captivated 10.9 million viewers, while her Khloe Kardashian makeover has 14.5 million views.

Evelin's most recent transformation, Angelina Jolie, has 31.3 million views.

"Knowing that my videos have touched the lives of countless people brings me an indescribable sense of fulfilment," she said.

"The encouraging comments, kind words, and unwavering support I receive serve as fuel for my creative fire.

"They inspire me to push myself further and aim higher, knowing that I have the power to make a positive impact and bring a smile to someone's face."
