Want the low down on Molly-Mae’s new must-have makeup items? We’ve got all the details, including her “holy grail” powder and a highlighter she called “literally blinding”.
In her Instagram stories, the former Creative Director for PrettyLittleThing started her makeup routine by applying her favourite of the new Laura Mercier products, the RoseGlow Liquid Highlighter, £30 here, in shade Peach Bronze to her cheeks and the tip of her nose, before blending it out.
Molly-Mae shared that she’d picked up the highlighter while she was in New York, saying: “I bought all three shades, I’d bought the first one and had to go back for the others because I was literally that obsessed.”
The highlighter has a padded applicator tip that allows you to dab the product onto your skin, with Molly-Mae using a beauty blender to tap it into her skin as she raved about how well it blended. She also swatched the highlighter's other two shades on her hands, calling them “literally blinding”.
Next she moved onto her eyes, where she used the Laura Mercier Matte Caviar Stick Eye Colour, £26 here, in the shade Vanilla Kiss, which is the newest product to be released by the brand.
Molly-Mae used the Caviar Stick as an eyeshadow base to “really brighten the eye area” and “make her eye space look bigger” and more “awake”, with the creamy eyeshadow stick giving a bold pop of pigment that stays locked into place for up to 24 hours.
To complete her look, Molly-Mae used the cult-favourite Translucent Loose Setting Powder, £29.20 here (was £36.50), to help fix her makeup in place and mattify her look, calling the powder the “most holy grail product” in her makeup bag, sharing that she’s used it for “literally years”.
The influencer also shared a close up on her Instagram grid of an almost identical makeup look that she’d done whilst in New York using the same products, with her fans commenting how natural and beautiful it looked.
