A STUDIO in London has gone on the market for just £480 a month – but there's one very big catch.

The little property in West Kensington is a bargain by anyone's standards, with neighbouring homes selling for an average of £450,000.

But sharp-eyed flat hunters will quickly notice something strange about the flat.

While the space offers a shower – bizarrely wedged between the fridge and a chest of drawers – there's no toilet to be seen.

The new tenant will be able to shower in their room, but face sharing a single toilet with people living in other flats.

Even more strangely, the property in North End Crescent is marketed as a home for two, meaning only the very closest of couples should apply.

Agents say the double semi-studio is based in an "attractive Victorian property" in a "great central location".

Photos show a double mattress against one wall, with a mini kitchenette opposite and the shower wedged close to the front door.

And despite the missing toilet, there'll be plenty queuing up for a viewing.

The flat lies close to major Tube stations including West Kensington and Barons Court.

Meanwhile, bus stops nearby will connect the new resident to upmarket areas including Chelsea, Fulham, Notting Hill and Knightsbridge.

The average cost of renting a property in the prestigious W14 postcode is £534 a week, according to Foxtons – meaning the new tenant will have scored the address at a great price.

And London is well-known for being particularly challenging for renters – even for those not limited by a strict budget.

One swanky apartment in Marylebone is on the market for £2,000 a month despite the fact that it doesn't have a bed.

Instead, the property simply features a tiny sofa barely big enough for one person to put their feet up.

TOTALLY LOO-PY

It's unlikely the sofa turns into a bed – because the space is too narrow for a mattress to comfortably fit.

Another flat in posh Richmond also comes without a bed – although it costs a whopping £350,000.

A family home on the market for a little under £1million has seven bedrooms.

Despite the space, unfortunate guests could find themselves camping out on a single bed in a bathroom.
