According to Martin Lewis’ website Money Saving Expert, the Tesco Clubcard Prices promotion has finally been launched.
This new scheme is offering members discounts of between 15% and 50% with a total of nearly 200 items to be reduced.
It is believed the new scheme is to celebrate the supermarket’s 100th birthday.
Around 200 items, ranging from coffee, crisps to televisions and clothing, will be included in the discount.
Here is everything you need to know about the new promotion.
How to get Clubcard Prices:
Tesco Clubcard customers just need to buy items as normal and scan their card at the till for a discount to be applied.
If you’re shopping online, the discount will be added at the checkout stage and shown on your receipt.
Which stores are taking part?
The supermarket has confirmed that all its stores across the UK, including Express and Metro branches will be taking part.
However, it’s worth noting you won’t find every deal at all the Tesco supermarkets.
Are more discounts likely to follow?
The promotion has been billed as a one-off to celebrate Tesco’s 100th birthday.
Two weeks ago The Sunday Times reported that the supermarket had trialled giving Clubcard holders extra discounts.
And there have been other reports that Tesco is looking to introduce a Amazon-style loyalty scheme.
