CRYSTAL PALACE are braced for a fresh approach from Arsenal for Wilfried Zaha as the Gunners look to improve on their initial £40million bid.

That offer landed far from the Eagles' valuation of the winger, which is thought to be around £80m.

Arsenal hoped to pay the sum over five years and even wanted a discount if they managed to pay the instalments early.

Now, a new offer is incoming that will be substantially higher than last time, according to Sky Sports.

ROB HOLDING may not be back to full fitness just yet… but he showed he is still as sharp as ever.

The Arsenal defender, 23, was with his team-mates for their tour of the United States – and cleverly swerved signing a Spurs shirt.

Walking past a group of Arsenal supporters at yesterday's clash with Real Madrid in Washington, many draped shirts over the barrier for him to sign.

One was white – not uncommon considering Arsenal were facing Los Blancos.

But just as he was about to put pen to polyester, Holding turned the shirt over to see the front.
