OFF YOU MAGHO
Tottenham have sold youngster Paris Maghoma to Brentford, the North London club have confirmed.
NO MAR SIGNINGS
Spurs target Thomas Lemar has reportedly decided to stay at Tottenham.
According to Le10 Sport, the French winger will be staying at Atletico Madrid with the player unwilling to leave this month.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Wolves had all been linked with the World Cup winner.
GUER TO THE THRONE
Harry Kane and Lautaro Martinez are two names who could succeed Sergio Aguero when he leaves Manchester City, according to reports.
A changing of the guard at Etihad Stadium is likely to continue in the next 18 months as David Silva and potentially Aguero follow the likes of Vincent Kompany out the exit door.
With Silva set to leave when his contract expires in June, Aguero's deal is up at the end of next season.
After a decade at the club, many believe the striker will strongly consider leaving with first club Independiente thought to be his most likely destination.
With that in mind, Daily Mail name Kane and Martinez in their report on City drawing up a shortlist of candidates to replace Aguero.
SPURRING MAX ON
Tottenham chiefs are reportedly phoning Max Aarons' representatives “every day” as they seek to lure the right-back away from Norwich City this month.
The 20-year-old is an integral figure at Carrow Road, playing the full 90 minutes in 20 of Daniel Farke's side's 22 Premier League matches this season.
Right-back has been a problem position at Spurs for a while, with many fans unhappy with Serge Aurier, and Jose Mourinho seemingly unimpressed by Kyle Walker-Peters.
And with Walker-Peters reportedly on his way out of Spurs, with Crystal Palace and Southampton circling, Mourinho is keen to recruit a new player to fill the position.
And according to Football Insider, a club representative of the North Londoners has been contacting the 20-year-old's camp every single day this month in an attempt to convince him to join.
Darren Bent has urged his former employers Tottenham to sign Arsenal and Chelsea target Samuel Umtiti from Barcelona.
Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “If they can get [Samuel] Umtiti, wow. He’s big, strong, powerful and good on the ball, and he’s someone [Jose] Mourinho can trust.
“He’s played in big games, won big competitions, obviously the World Cup which is a big one.
“If he’s been offered, that means he may not cost too much, so I’d snap their hand off.”
