PAUL POGBA'S possible move to Real Madrid has been held up by the Manchester United midfielder's huge wage demands, reports in France say.

L'Equipe suggest Bernabeu boss Zinedina Zidane is frustrated by the French World Cup winner's reputed request for £13million a year.

Real believe paying the 26-year-old such a sum would upset their pay structure – especially considering his erratic form at Old Trafford.

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has made Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly his top summer transfer target, according to The Mirror.

The Norwegian did improve the defence during his spell in caretaker charge, but the same problems Jose Mourinho faced have reared their head again since Solskjaer took over permanently.

And now he is looking for a commanding centre-back in the mould of Virgil Van Dijk to take his side to the next level.

But Koulibaly will not come cheap with Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti recently saying he is worth £130m.

ANDER HERRERA has tipped Manchester United youngsters Mason Greenwood and James Garner to save Ole Gunnar Solskjaer millions in the transfer market.

Outgoing Spanish midfielder Herrera, 29, hailed striker Mason Greenwood, 17, after his impressive display in United's otherwise dismal 2-0 home loss to Cardiff on Sunday.

And Herrera believes Greenwood's England Under-18 team-mate Garner can be a future Old Trafford hero in central midfield.

The Manchester Evening News report Herrera as saying: “There are some good players and they think they are going to be great players — Mason Greenwood, Jimmy Garner.

“There are other players who need time because they are still very young.

“I am optimistic for the future but I ask the fans to give them time. Some of them might tell me to shut up because they have been waiting already.”
