Conor McGregor mocks Nate Diaz as Irishman demands to see UFC rival’s yacht in Twitter rant

CONOR McGREGOR mocked Nate Diaz and demanded to see his rival's yacht in a bizarre Twitter rant.

The Notorious, 32, took to social media to dig up old wounds and reignite their ongoing spat.

Diaz, 35, fought McGregor at just 11 days' notice in March 2016 – and the American recorded a shock second-round submission win.

He revealed he was drinking tequila on a 'yacht' when he got the call from UFC boss Dana White.

At the time he posted a video on Instagram and captioned it: "I wasn't training for a triathlon before this fight I was on a yacht in cabo gettin my chillax on wit my dudes @gilbertmelendez and crew before I got the call but #alwaysreadyforwar in season or not."

And McGregor decided to hit out at Diaz on Tuesday afternoon, specifically wanting to see his definition of a yacht believing it was a severe over exaggeration.

The Irishman – who has a £2.7million Lamborghini yacht – tweeted: "You can’t just go around calling regular boats, yachts.

"The rhetoric spread around in this business is disgraceful at times. 'Nate was partying on a yacht in Cabo.'

"I demand to see this 'yacht'. He was fighting for 20k at that exact time. 20k show. 20k win was his exact purse."

He also added a picture of two blokes in a fishing boat and wrote: "He was partying on a yacht in Cabo."

Another tweet said: "What yacht was nate on in Cabo that time?"

It is unclear what sparked the latest episode of their bonkers feud on Tuesday afternoon but the Irish star started off by tweeting about his idea of a McGregor belt in the UFC.

But when someone replied about Diaz, the fighter worth £120m continued: "Isn’t that crazy! Who’s the real bad motherf***er anyway?

"Went up two weight divisions on a weeks notice to fight him for that fight. No hesitation. Straight onto my jet. In thru the side door. Surprise, surprise."

Diaz responded by sharing a picture of the tale of the tape before facing Rory Markham, coming in 6lb lighter.

The Californian wrote: "Who went up two weight classes in half a day notice no hesitation and not promotion about it just did it cause I ain’t no b**** how’s that Conor f*** u Whatever u think u did already been done by a real G Try not to get finished agaaaain."

Another UFC fan offered to clean McGregor's own yacht for free.

But he said: "Thank you sir I appreciate that. I’ve a great team currently tho. The things absolutely sparkling in Cannes."

And he finished off his social media rampage by sharing two videos – one flaunting his Rolex in a Rolls-Royce and the other partying in Dubai, again flashing one of his expensive watches.

McGregor made amends for his UFC 196 defeat five months later by securing a majority win.
