THIS is the horrific moment an MMA fighter has his SHOULDER ripped out of its socket after refusing to tap out.

The sickening injury occurred to amateur brawler Cole Farsaci at Cage Wars 52 on Friday.

It was his first-ever bout with the MMA organisation, with the event taking place at the Rivers Casino in Schenectady, New York.

But Farsaci may be waiting a while before his next appearance after his painful setback.

The American was fighting Jahliel Palmer when the contest quickly went to the floor.

Palmer was able to get the better of Farsaci and eventually lock his arm in an upright position.

The pair squirmed on the ground as Palmer applied pressure to force a tap-out.

However, Farsaci bravely held his ground and continued struggling in an attempt to break the hold.

The pain barrier clearly went up a notch when Farsaci spat out his mouth guard.

And moments later Palmer then folded Farsaci’s arm in HALF, wrenching it from his shoulder socket.

The referee immediately halted the fight as Palmer screamed in celebration.

Meanwhile, Farsaci writhed in agony as the realisation of the injury kicked in.

Gobsmacked fans watched on in horror from the sides, while the commentary team yelled: “We don’t want to see that.

“He just ripped the shoulder out of the socket. We need a doctor in here pretty quick.

“Wow, we don’t ever like to see that happen. Oh my goodness.

“This is a violent sport, this is a dangerous sport.”

Farsaci has kept a low profile since suffering the horrifying injury.

But Palmer was quick to react to his win, tweeting: “First amateur MMA win! I’m extremely thankful to every one of my teammates, friends and family.
