OLIVIER GIROUD is fuming at being strung along by Inter Milan before seeing the interest peter out, according to reports.
The Frenchman, 33, was desperate to leave Chelsea in search of regular football as he fears missing out on Euro 2020.
But the World Cup winner missed out on a move as Inter turned their attentions to Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen.
RMC Sport claims Giroud was first contacted by the Italian club in December and held talks for weeks before reaching an agreement on a deal.
But they reportedly pulled the plug on talks late in the window – claiming the Eriksen transfer meant they could not afford Giroud.
