MAIN REEF comes from Mark Johnston so should know his job ahead of this debut. He has plenty of speed in his pedigree so should prove sharp enough for the minimum distance too.
It’s interesting to see a 5lb claimer on board Glasvegas as he makes his debut for Keith Dalgleish.
That could make all the difference in a tight finish. Lara Silvia showed some promise when fifth on debut at Redcar and could make her experience count.

DUKE OF FIRENZE has come right down the weights and shaped well enough off this mark when fourth at Epsom last time out. He may have needed that comeback run and is taking a drop in class today.
Abel Handy is another who took on stronger rivals when fourth on his seasonal debut at Newmarket latest. He’s also coming down the weights over an ideal trip so should be right there.
Dapper Man had no luck in running at Ripon last time and is on a fair mark even before his rider’s 5lb claim comes off.

COOLAGH FOREST caught the eye when winning here over a mile last time out. That was his first run on turf and he didn’t settle fully and gave the impression that there would be a lot more to come. He’s up just 4lb for that and should enjoy this slightly longer distance.
Zeshov was just over a length off the pace over course and distance last time and should be thereabouts again from the same mark. Mustadun is another with just one turf run to his name and could be capable of taking a step forward.

EVERYTHING FOR YOU shaped well when third over 1m2f last time and this extra quarter-mile is an interesting move. He’s had a breathing operation in the close season and should be competitive off this mark. Claire Underwood has been consistent on the all-weather and came back to the turf to be beaten just over a length at Ripon last time.
A repeat of that would put her on the premises again. Aiya is making his debut for Tim Easterby after showing some promise for Andrew Balding last season and a market move would be interesting.

ARLETTA STAR ran well enough when third over this trip at Catterick two runs ago before finding 6f a bit on the short side at Ripon last time. She has few miles on the clock and stepping back up in distance here should help.
Bataar has shown promise in three maidens on the all-weather and starts off handicapping from what could be a fair mark. Smile A Mile wasn’t asked too many questions last season and should be capable of winning a modest handicap like this.

JACOB BLACK came back from a break to finish a solid third here last time when he maybe just lacked for a bit of fitness in the closing stages. He has winning form over trip and track and is on a competitive mark.
Kupa River is holding his form well and was back to his best when third at Wetherby last time out. He likes this trip and should be in the shake-up again.
How Bizarre didn’t get going when stuck out wide at Wolverhampton last time. He won well on his last visit here and is only 2lb higher in the ratings.

ELITE ICON came back to his best when third here last time, beaten just a length. He’s not one to rely on but this is a weak contest and he should be on the premises again. A market move for About Glory on this comeback for new trainer Iain Jardine would be interesting as he’s not run on the Flat for almost two years.
Dew Pond wasn’t disgraced when fifth at Southwell last time and has had a little help from the handicapper.
