WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO is in talks for a sensational boxing return with DAZN over a £76m deal, Eddie Hearn has confirmed.
The former undisputed heavyweight king retired from the ring in 2017 following his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua.
Although, I didn’t win the titles on April 29th 2017, for me, it was one of my best days in my long boxing career (so far). Thanks @anthonyfjoshua for being the perfect opponent and part of my obsession to become a champion again! #obsessed pic.twitter.com/vFSPLXG9QF
The Ukrainian legend has hinted about a possible comeback ever since, with a number of cryptic social media posts.
But DAZN promoter Hearn has revealed the streaming service is already deep in discussions with the 43-year-old.
He told IFL TV: “I think he is looking at it. Nothing is happening at the moment.
“DAZN have spoken to him. We’d love him back, I love Klitschko.
“I think he is great, but we will see.”
Klitschko – a former WBA, IBF and WBO world champion – told last week about his “obsession to become a champion again”.
He had thanked Joshua on Twitter for their fight in April 2017 at Wembley, which he lost despite knocking down his rival.
The two have since become close pals, and have often spoke of their mutual respect for each other.
