Amanda Holden declares shes brilliant in bed as she makes cheeky confession

Amanda Holden admitted that she's "brilliant in bed" while discussing bedtime secrets with co-host Alan Carr.

The duo went on the search for a perfect mattress for Alan's newly renovated room in their one euro Sicilian apartment. As they scoured the furniture shop for one worth purchasing, Alan asked Amanda what she's like in bed.

"I'm brilliant apparently," Amanda laughed. "Of course I'm going to say that!"

Alan reworded his question, replying: "No I mean do you move around?"

Amanda lay still on a show-bed with her hands clasped over her stomach. "I sleep like this and I don't move," she informed Alan.

Elsewhere in the show, Alan and Amanda completed another room in the house, wth Alan getting advice from a Swedish house designer and Amanda grabbing a bargain chandelier from the local market.

Viewers were fond of the easy viewing which aired on Friday night on BBC One.

A new fan of the show tweeted: "Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job is quite possibly one my favourite Tv shows ever. So good."

"Just stumbled across the delight that is Amanda and Alans Italian job… @AmandaHolden and @chattyman are so funny and have such a beautiful friendship," second tweeted. "Just remind me never to get in a car in Italy if Alan's driving," they laughed.

A third added: "Binge watching #amandaandalansitalianjob and it’s brilliant! It’s really funny and getting me in the mood for my Italian adventure this summer."

"Amanda & Alan’s ‘lil jaunt is a home-run for the BBC. Their chemistry is off the scale! It’s the perfect mix of comedy, travel, interior design and genuine heartwarming moments. Give me MORE! #ItalianJob," a fourth chimed in.
