Telly tough guy Ant Middleton has spoken out about claims he made "lewd and suggestive comments" to women on the set of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Ant, 40, has insisted it is "not in his nature" to behave in an inappropriate way towards females – even when he is "drunk as a skunk".
The former special forces sniper has also hit out at what he sees as a "victim mentality".
Speaking on a podcast, Ant said: "I can get as drunk as a skunk and that's not in my nature, that's not who I am.
"My family knows that and my wife knows that. I'm more of a boys' boy – let's f*** off the chicks and go and have a drink with the lads.
"It makes me realise how this victim mentality is really taking over.
"My career could be cancelled if I wasn't who I am. I'm too far gone and too long in the tooth now to be completely cancelled."
In March, reports claimed that as many as four women had raised formal concerns about Ant's alleged conduct on set.
One female contestant from a past series has even claimed he told her in jest that he wanted to have sex with her.
Channel 4 axed him from the show and said it "will not be working with him again" after the reports surfaced.
The dad-of-five has strenuously denied the allegations. But his wife Emilie has grilled him about them.
Ant added: "It's like, Who did you make a suggestive comment to?'
"I'm like, ‘Emilie, go back to who I am. When you first met me and I was drunk, have I ever been sleazy?' No. Am I super polite? Yes, I am."
Ant, who says he is moving to Australia to escape the "pretentious" UK added: "When all this came up, I just took it with a pinch of salt because it's, ‘He said, she said'.
"I'm like, ‘Who's made these complaints?' ‘Well, they heard you saying…' ‘Has it come direct from the complainant?' ‘No, no, no, it's come from a crew member.' I'm just like, ‘Get over yourself'."
