Schedules are set to change for EastEnders as BBC One hosts Wimbledon coverage.

From Monday, June 27, EastEnders will move to BBC Two as the tennis tournament gets underway.

While the channel may be different, EastEnders episodes will still air from 7:30-8pm.

It’s a busy week for the soap as Shirley (Linda Henry) announces war on the Mitchells after learning Sharon’s (Letitia Dean) brother, Zack (James Hudson), slept with Sam (Kim Medcalf) and broke Nancy’s (Maddy Hill) heart.

Elsewhere, there’s trouble for Stacey (Lacey Turner) as she continues to discover problems that come with being in a relationship with a Panesar, and the opening of Peggy’s goes catastrophically wrong.

Schedule changes have impacted EastEnders a lot over the past few years.

When the Euros aired, EastEnders began uploading weekly boxsets to BBC iPlayer, to make sure viewers were able to catch up on the latest goings on in Walford and keep up with the football matches.

And of course, back in March, EastEnders schedules changed permanently, moving from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday episodes to Mon-Weds, with all episodes now airing at 7:30pm.
