EastEnders fans are convinced Mick Carter will leave the show after Janine Butcher 'cons him out of' the Queen Vic pub.
Over the festive period, the blonde bombshell made sure to meddle with Mick and Linda’s relationship as her feelings for the barman started to grow.
Ahead of the New Year’s celebrations, the loveable Londoner arranged for a Broadway-themed party to help reignite the passion in their relationship.
But while he was busy dressing up the Queen Vic, Janine grabbed his phone and texted Linda to say she was no longer invited to the party before she swiftly deleted the messages.
Since then, the pair have had a distanced relationship, leaving plenty of room for Janine to put on the charms for bar owner.
Now, fans are convinced the blonde belle will be reason the TV rogue leaves the show as viewers predict he will discover her meddling in due course – and she could even lose him the pub.
Taking to Reddit with their theories on Mick's exit, one fan suggested: "Janine somehow cons him out of the Vic and leaves him with nothing."
Someone else agreed: "WTF I never thought of this. That would be a shocker!"
