EastEnders villain Lucas Johnson (Don Gilet) returned in the Christmas Day episode and it’s safe to say Denise Fox (Diane Parish) is terrified at the prospect of her ex-husband coming back for revenge.
Denise took her son Raymond to his local church for a Christmas service, and discovered they were talking about people who have changed their life for the better. Her serial killer ex then entered the room and scared Denise so much she left the service.
She was confronted by Lucas who told her he was a part of a rehabilitation scheme, but the terror she felt for herself and Raymond quickly increased when she discovered her daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) was with Lucas too.
In a preview clip of Monday night’s episode uploaded earlier today, Denise can be seen talking to Kim (Tameka Empson) about her fears following Lucas being released from prison.
Curious as to why Lucas never killed Denise when they were together, she quickly concluded that she is the serial killer’s weakness.
As much as Kim is seen trying to convince Denise that Lucas won’t hurt her, it doesn’t appear she believes her, as Lucas has Chelsea under the illusion that he is a changed man.
The worry that comes from this preview clip is that Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) can be seen overhearing the whole conversation, and wastes no time in telling Kim that he can’t sit back and let Lucas hurt Denise again.
Kim tells Patrick not to worry as she’s the one with a plan, but will the two of them find themselves in danger if they try and get rid of Lucas?
